200: Perished steering wheel replacement

Finally got round to getting a replacement wheel for my current one, which is peeling its way nicely to the core (embarrassing quality for a steering wheel)

In my bid to keep things OEM (as beautiful as them Alcantara steering wheels look!), managed to get my hands on this one locally for £60, in pretty much mint condition.

Next project, sort my bloody dent!

Be nice to cross your name off the top of the list of "Promised and long awaited 'projects' now Ross.

I think this has been talked about for only slightly less time than Jimmy's wheel re-furb.

From memory that leaves Micah topping the list the list now with his "Will i ever fuggin decide what colour" caliper refurb".....

Definitely a steal, after my service on Tuesday (and a bit of moaning about the steering wheel condition on mine as I picked it up), I received a message out of the blue via Facebook on the sly that night offering me this one he had, all a bit hush hush but can't thank my contact enough!

@sevenfourate The plan for the bodywork is to take it to Baker Body Craft in Bury for them to look and price me up! They worked on 200's before and Green Focus RS's, also a good reputation! Best scenario it's a pointless jobby!

Would create a project thread, however my updates are just a matter of keeping it as standard and as in one piece as possible haha!

Doesn't help Clio200.net appears to now be a blocked site at work, oops! hence slightly infrequent posts! how dare they!

Awesome Ross!

Know you like the oem look so this will really freshen it up for you

Need to organise a drive soon!

Definitely need to organise something! Will have to see what's going on this way, I've mentioned touring cars at Snetty potentially as it's not far for some (apologies to Pav and Jimmy!)

I've noticed a LY 200t has landed on a driveway 3 houses down, soon it'll be the most common colour in Suffolk!

Should be the rarest - boo!

That's a good price on the steering wheel Ross, good find! Hope you manage to get the dent sorted easily enough - I imagine it's one of those things that keep niggling away at you!

And no need to apologise on the BTCC thing, I'm sure us Northern outcasts will get another chance soon
