My Lambo SG Reborn..

Firstly, the interior is pure porn Pete. Really. Carbon interiors really are the business.

Awesome work with the sticker, love attention to detail like that. I'm sure it would be a provenance thing if it ever came to resale time too.

Loved the bit where you're talking about weight and power. So basically what you're saying is, roughly the same weight of the Clio, with roughly three times the power. I'm sure it's hilarious!

Loving this thread. Please do keep us up to date and post lots of pics if you get time.

Yea i do love the cabin on these, would be nice to have got something with a carbon tub etc but there's something old school about the gallardo i quite like. My business does classic car restorations so i guess the small things rub off even on my own cars. Still can't bring myself to remove the elf sticker from the rear window on the 200 lol.

Yea the SG has a great power to weight ratio especially as i mentioned above its more regular contruction. It has some pretty sweet gear ratios too can surprise alot of other supercars especially at the top end.

I'll keep the pics comming and hopefully get some vids too. I was hesitant to share on here at first as i didn't want to seem like a douche showing off his lambo but in reality I don't really have anyone else to share the fun with and i hoped some people might enjoy the thread.

I'll try and get some better pics of the cabin too once it's clean lol

I do have one major 1st world problem and that's that my swept back hair adds about 1.5 cm to my height and now rubs on the roof lol i used to have a skin head so wasn't an issue before, looks like i may have to chop off my locks haha!

I absolutely love the Lambo! I myself aim to own one, preferably before 40 but either way I will have one, one day! Please feel free to post as many pics as you can!

Mate, we're all petrolheads at the end of the day!

And yep, we're still sporting our Elf sticker and a full set of badges.

Looking forward to more.

Love to see someone do well for themselves and share their spoils with a load of pics  you'll always get some that will never say we'll do mate as it so sticks in their throats it hurts!

I, too, have been enjoying this...not often one discovers a "build" thread of a car such as this, and --- no --- certainly has read as douchie.....

......until I read this!!

Never have i read 'douche' into this thread Pete. Lucky b**tard maybe. But not douche

TBH its fun reading another mans trials and tribulations in ref to a car born purely out of enjoyment. Normally here its in terms of a Clio of course. The fact yours is one most of here might never own just adds to the flavour.

Also just goes to show not every Supercar owner opens up their wallet at the showroom and 'becomes' an owner either. You obviously worked hard and still are working hard to get this car on the road in a 'state' you want it in.

And i think people like me appreciate the work your going through in order to achieve that goal.

Ready for more pics when you are

Sorry for lack of updates but been very busy with work.

Finally got the car back together and went out for blast this evening. Forgot how truly savage this thing is. Down shifting literally sounds like ripping thunder right behind your head. The carbon breaks have less feel than the Clio and you really have to jump on them double footed sometimes, if they aren't up to temp feels like pushing an anvil. With the car being made by weird Italians the brake is where our clutch is and the throttle where our brake is so you sit offset, gotta watch those feet or you'll be shooting off into an expensive mess.

The mid engine set up makes the car feel very light at the front and boot it too hard out of a corner and you will feel like you are facing the pearly gates but hang on through the initial skid and it just balances itself, at least it's nothing to to with my non existent skills that's for sure. The car really dumps down at the rear on a hard launch so may look at some anti lift stuff if there is any.

Sadly my ASBO inducing hoon came to an end when I triggered the engine management light I think from what my laptop tells me it's just an O2 sensor but after so long in a comma i guess something was gonna go wrong. I'll take it back to the shop to get checked.

Will get some proper pics at some point and since my apartment carpark is full the Clio and the lambo have to share a space for now so I can only have one at a time. (1st world problems eh?)

The reflection in the second pic; makes it look like your about to club the thing with a large rock......

VERY nice Pete. I could listen to that all day long. I bet the sensations inside are epic.

Bet it felt good to sit on-top of a hand-grenade again

Nuts. Love it.

Aren't the import duties and taxes absolutely insane in HK? I remember reading that a FD2 Civic R was ~£90k after taxes?!

Wow! Looks like you've done a fantastic job, nice to see it back to it's former glory.

Really is a fantastic car, keep the pictures coming!

Yea everything's pretty much double or close too it new. In the UK its would be worth around 160-180k GBP retail i guess based on mileage but here around 280-300k GBP

My clio was 13k fricken rip off.
