Indy 500

Ok so I've never watched this before but I'm interested in watching mainly to see how Alonso gets on. I've been looking into it and as far as I can see the only way I can watch it is to add BT sports to my Sky subscription at a rediculous price. I'm not doing that so does anybody know another way you can watch it? I see ESPN (part of BT sport now apparently) have a pay per view streaming thingy but as far as I can see it doesn't show indycar.

I'm not bothered about watching it live but I would prefer to watch it legally and in decent quality.

I hope he wins it, it would be a fantastic achievement. The footage of him in traffic was pretty awesome. He's going to be very interesting to watch during the race.

As for watching it legally... What would feel "less" horrible. Finding a stream or giving a money grabbing, monopoly building organisation more money?

Just find a stream mate!

Amazon Firestick from ebay: pre-loaded with Kodi, Mod-Bro etc

£50 and a bit (One off payment) and every channel you can ever imagine.

Job-done long term

I'd have to agree with the Kodi option to be honest... Not 'legal', but if the subscription channels were more reasonably (realistically) priced, then these devices wouldn't be so popular! It's stupid money to watch live sports these days...

It would put the yanks firmly in place if he rocks up and wins.
Therefore I don't mind if he does. Would be a big up to F1 if he did

but its not as he has left them to drive round in a big circle...a bit of a 2 finger salute to f1...

You got Kodi Jimmy ? I did very recently on a Firestick as above.

All pre-loaded. Simple to plumb-in. Every channel you've ever imagined at your fingertips for 'no money'.

My wife loves the all films, box-sets etc. Sports channels by the 1000. And anything else you can imagine. Really pleased with it here

Yeah, I got one of the Chinese boxes for Xmas. I'm well impressed with it too - so much choice on there! I haven't watched any sports as of yet, so I can't comment on the live streaming quality etc, but for box-sets and movies, it's just brilliant.

There's also plenty of information on the web, if you need to change preferences and settings etc. I don't faff about with it too much, but I wanted to change the sound settings and have the option of subtitles - tons of help online.

Not sure what the long-term prospects of them are, especially concerning the legality. There's been a couple of recent cases of sellers of these pre-loaded boxes being in trouble with the law. Seems to be a bit of a grey area as to how 'legal' it all really is... I know Kodi as program isn't illegal, it's the apps that are the issue.

Alonso out with around 30 laps to go after engine failure...
He drove brilliantly, led a few times and ran most of the race at the front. Great effort from him.
Have to say though, if Max Chilton is leading with 7 to go and Takuma Sat wins it, how bloody hard can it be.

I didn't end up watching it but Alonso must be pretty devastated after another break down.

What a shocker! Honda engine blows up. Didn't see that coming!

Absolutely gutted for him. He drove superbly and was definitely in the hunt for the win.

Was a good 500 overall and enjoyed it all up until Alonso went out.

My GOD Dixon is a lucky, lucky man!!!
