V10 M5-powered E46 M3. Forget the F4R, this is what an n/a engine should sound like.

I once had the pleasure to be passenger of him around the Nordschleife in an other Gr. A/N M3 E30. Awesome experience!

‘Frightening’ I bet !

I went in a tin-top with a F3 driver once. Enlightening, scary, eye-opening and belittling doesn’t come close to how much skill, talent and bravery these guys have.

Getting sideways at 110mph and calmly saying “...well: this is interesting” midway through the crisis still lives with me now.

Actually not frightening at all but very exiting. The man really knows his business. I knew after the first couple of meters that this had nothing to do with what I knew about driving a car so far. We were blasting past everything...Ferraris, Porsches you name it. The bikers were just indicating with arms and sometimes even feet that he should pass.

The M3 in question belonging to his father and some friends.

Wtf is with the car door flying open at 1:57???

We've a saying in German about "opening or closing the door" on somebody/something. With opening the door he indicated he's willing to let him pass. That's at least my assumption.

The second Opel Ascona wasn't that nice. That's why he got the finger at some point.

A little older but quite nice tarmac rallye video with great sound from a member over at cliors.de.

There of course are some Renaults in it. Various types of Clios, the most crackling Megane I ever heard and a Twingo R1 losing a mirror at a lantern pole.
