... and those brabham cars from back in the days when animals could talk. remember the 'fan car'? still think the BT44 and BT45 look absolutely gorgeous. martini branding helps of course.

I LOVED those Murray Brabhams. So cool. All that obvious innovation is gone now.

yeah, i did. impressed by the specs of the car, but not the concept (or looks). a one million pound car which is destined to end up in a garage in dubai or qatar? i guess that's were the margins are biggest?

I LOVE the looks of it, and the engine is clearly going to be pretty special. Of course it's pure fantasy for most of us but if you have the disposable income, why not?

Yes mate, they've made it all too complex for the average punter to even get close to understanding it all. Usually it really annoys me when things are dumbed down to pamper to the people who don't understand it, but in this case, I really think F1 needs it!

well that race was a lot easier for Mercedes than I had expected! A pretty poor race for Ferrari, and especially Red Bull, Hamilton was a pit-stop ahead by the first stops.... and oh dear Max Verstappen - 5 races, 5 accidents. I think someone needs to have a word and calm him down a bit.
In F2, this season is actually very good with Norris and Russell both looking very impressive. I'd be very surprised if one or both weren't in F1 next season. I didn't realise they were running 3.4 v6 turbo engines this year, changing from the 4ltr n/a v8's!

Grosjean has been handed a grid penalty for the next race. For some reason he decided that whilst spinning and facing oncoming cars, the best thing to do was to plant the throttle...

I think in his mind, he could spin it a lot tighter and avoid the cars going round the back of him, as he could see them going that way....
