Hi all,

In a couple of weeks time will be picking up a 57 plate 197

Looking to do a few minor bits and get it ready as a cheap track toy

James

Welcome along. Plenty of advice & banter here. Post some pics up when you get the car & enjoy yourself.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

My daily is currently an e92 335i with approx 390bhp. Although nice and quick, its not the sort of car to throw around!

Signed up as a paid member and found some useful info in the how to section!

Will update all being well once I've picked it up!

Cheers

Great.glad you are finding the site useful...
A few guys have a bmw as their second car on here..very popular combo..

Welcome Jim.

In the absence of Clio photos, (good choice by the way, it should do exactly what you can't with the BMW) can we get some 335i pics please? Is that going to stay as a daily? Nice support vehicle to have!

Beauty! Excellent colour. Sits nice too.

Cheers!! Yeah black with red leather!

Sat on h&r springs. I assume these are just as suitable for the 197?

Quite a big sport spec from standard. Nearly FBO mod wise:
Twin air filter
Twin dump valve
Ally charge pipe
FMIC
JB4 ecu

Lots more non performance too!

You'll find the springs a bit harsher on the Clio I think!

Nice spec on the 335 :thumb: Would love a nice cruiser BMW with a bit of poke. Toyed with having one for a while early last year.

Yeah it's a lovely motor! Running costs are high; as are the repairs/parts but hey. Only live once right?
