Agree with others that have replied. I don't find steering too light on my 197 it's bang on. What tyre pressures you running.

Hi @ chris1888-197, I think the fuel may have been a big part of the issue. You must be pleased with 188 bhp I think once I'm back in work gonna fit exhaust and filter and off to rs tuning for a map. This should increase drive ability and grin factor.

I have a 197 with standard seats and my mate has a 200 silverstone gp with recaros. The standard seats are perfectly good but the recaros do add to the whole driving experience. I agree with a previous post if car is good seats shouldn't be a deal breaker, they weren't for me anyway.

Seats look smart! Loved them in my R26. Was it an easy job to do as I quite fancy fitting a pair of these in my 197. Any info regarding the work involved in fitting them would be great.

Just to add I had the car into the garage and had the exhaust etc checked. All was present and correct with no modifications or signs of damage. If car proves to be ok a pipe, filter and map could be on the cards! What power would you gain from carrying out these mods? Any of you guys done...
