Yep, it's perfectly fine. I was running it on 225/45-17 tires on a trackday this weekend, and even that wasn't rubbing at all ;)

I was also a bit skeptical before I saw it in real life, where it's low enough for my taste and for practical reasons. There still is some rake, but it has to be because of the above mentioned turn in.

This is how it sits on H&R 30/40 springs, +20mm spacers on each corner. I think it's just right height wise and the ride is very similar to original FF suspension (maybe a bit harsher, but also less bodyroll)...

It happens sometimes on mine when on the rev limiter and changing into 4th... I believe the synchro is a bit worn out. But it really isn't such a big issue...

Arm or hub carrier balljoint? Number 3 or number 1 on the picture below? Because the simptoms you described are similar to mine, but I had the hub carrier lower balljoints done on both sides and nothing changed...

I think the Albi blue on the pics above is already lowered and it seems ok. Because you can also get the wheels with ET 45, rather than ET 40 (which is for Volvo C30)...

The friend that works at Renault took a look at it and he's almost certain, the sound travels to the column from the rack. Because none of the u-joints on the intermediate shaft are loose and there isn't any play in the steering column itself. But there's quite a lot of play in the rack. So...
