This has happened only a handful of times (about 4 times in the last 10months)... Sometimes when I lock the car I can hear a faint (but distinct) beeping noise that seems to come from the rear of the car, its about 5 'beeps' in total and only ever happened when locking... At first I thought...

Yeah Im from Rochester, if Im at Birchwood its usually on a Thursday evening. There is also Grey 197 that I've seen there a few times aswell...

Can anyone tell me what diameter pipe is used?? Its booked in at my local garage but to save time Im after them having the correct size pipe ready to be installed. (Otherwise it will need to be ordered in as they dont hold much stock). Thanks

Has anyone in the South East (ideally close to Rochester) had this done? If so, what garage did you go to? I'd be happier to use a garage that another member has used so I dont need to explain whats to be done and can also be assured the work will be good. Thanks

I took the lid off my 200 last saturday and have been driving around like it all week... (roughly 300 miles) My experience of it is, yes It does sound good, but I have noticed that it has definately lost some pull in the last 1-1.5k rpm. Bottom end torque does 'feel' stronger but I suspect...

I'll have a go at this! Where can I get the replacement pipe from? Is it just a case of unbolting/detaching the center silencer and slipping in the new pipe, or is the system one peice meaning getting the angle grinder out?

Did my dash strips and center consol last night... and Im not sure if I like it or not! Im just not as happy with it as I thought I'd be... I couldn't get the center consol 100% smooth so although to look at its fine, there are small creases down the edges which no matter how much I heated up...

I quite like the matt finish... So does anyone know what size sheet of vinyl I need to order to do both the center consol and the dash trims?

Ok thanks. Whats the advantage of it being lacquered being? I had read somewhere that lacquered vinyl just looks blacker rather than looking more like high end carbon. Still interested in trying it though.
