Ill take my diffiser off tmoz n dive it for the day, that will rule it out

Hi did you manage to solve the rattle as iv got the same problem as soon as the exhaust gets warm it rattles on the heat shield that's fastned to the diffuser, does it really need the shield or can I replace it with stick on stuff ? Cheers

Did anyone get to the bottom of this mines doing exactly the same the engine just kind of dies I have to drop down the gears to get the revs to lift like in driving up a massive hill or something but if I turn it off and re start whilst still rolling it's back to normal it's really strange, no...

I made some of these, I used an 8mm round bar I ground one end taperd down to 4mm then drilled a 2mm dimple in the end of it, it's brilliant for getting the pins started as it won't slip and chip the caliper paint, then a normal pin punch to tap them the rest of the way

I'm going to put a washer at each side of each nut that will give it 13mm lift at the rear if I like it I'm going to make my own spacers from round aluminium bar and get some high tensile bolts to keep it rigid and secure

I'm trying some atm, still unsure if I like the look or not I just pressed 2 m6 nuts into an m10 nut and then drilled the threads out of the m6 nuts with a 6mm drill made four of these and fitted longer bolts, bonnet locks down and releases perfect, it's only a small lift though so it looks...

Also Thers no messy wires and splicing looms like on the meg conversion, once you start choping into looms and joining wires your asking for trouble IMO,I get what mats saying if you've looked after your engine and serviced regular etc you know everything's ok and trust it's reliability, yeah...

I'd looked into this rather than the meg conversion it's different and uses all new parts, if it's been out a while on the 172/182 I can't see it needing much ironing out either, I think I'd choose it over the meg conversion just to be different and against the grain lol
