simoxmino This car is epic. Easily the only n/a clio on here that I'd be proud to own. Great to see you sticking with the n/a engine and doing things properly

It's difficult for me expain what i lived with my r27 in the last 8year.... track, mountain, my wedding, fun, fun and fun..
I loved and i love this car but in this moment i need to make a change.. not a change for more fun but for more usable car.. usable for all, family, necessary and why not for track and mountain road..
But it's not easy have more fun that a 197 like mine..

So.. last week i sold my r27...
I've no regrets, i sold for the right price to my friend, i'm sure he will love her like me..

it's a contrast of emotions.. how many experience on this 197... how many km on track.. how many photo of this beautiful renault sport.. how many friends like you on 197.net.. and how many money ahahah

next week i hope to present you the new car, for the moment i prefer don't make names

Cliona I love you, you'll always be in my heart :relaxed:

I know i know.. it's a shame but in italy It's always more difficult with police, laws mechanical... it's a shame have a great car for track but have no way to use it.. no money and no time
on legal street it's not simple..
i live near milano, i cannot use it in city, i need to go in mountain for use it fearless..

Wait with me next tuesday night for some pics of the new

Chapter is closed then Simo yeah?

I totally understand your decision though mate. When owning a car for many years it is very difficult not to be carried away modifying it and eventually making it seriously focused. Then the time comes - especially when priorities change - when you realise that the car spends more time in the garage than the track. But then it's too stiff, too loud, stripped and uncomfortable that makes it a pain to use it on the roads.

This is why Renault Sport cars are so good imo, a reasonable every day's car with immense track potential out of the box. Modifying them is great but take the first variable away and then the whole point is missed.

Many years ownership's then Simo, I'm sure you had a blast but as per your messages on whatsapp, something good is coming!

Come on then, pics:smile:

@simoxmino so time has come. You had an excellent time with the RS! For us here you were the leader, the one who was brave enough to invest and make such steps, what we the followers just dream about.
Than we see the result, saved some cash and followed you in many cases.
So many thanks for the past years, nice ideas, great thread!

And hope you will love the new baby as well  We know what is it, due to our whatsapp group, but hey, share it with all the others as well

Totally agree with you @Yiannis197 , same is happening to me: my little one is way too stiff - way too loud and spends more time in garage than on the road.
