Looking Fresh

Sprint spoiler looks fantastic. I think it finishes the back of the car off perfectly without the more outlandish (but still brilliant to my eyes) Cup version.

If it was up to me, ours would have a Sprint one on it, but my wife is adamant it's staying spoilerless. :worried:

Could it not be done "on the quiet" without her noticing and see if she doesn't spot it? Lol. Or is that just asking for trouble haha

Agree it suits the tailgate nicely. To be honest I was surprised just how exspensive a genuine cup spoiler is! Coming from Audi and there crazy high prices I thought Renault would be a refreshing change for cheaper parts.

Quality costs at the end of the day. It's refreshing that there are very few duff parts available for these cars. Could be MUCH worse!

Nooo, how can you say that to us deep black owners? Nothing more disappointing than seeing mine freshly washed and in direct sunlight :worried:

Ha! Exactly! ...and that's why I could never own a black car.

Well, actually my daily is Pearl Black, but I'm not exactly bothered about that.

I've just ordered some Poorboys Black Hole Show Glaze to see how it does with the swirls, pics will be up on Saturday, weather permitting.

From experience with Renault Black Gold & Deep Black, Meguires Microfibre cutting discs, compound followed by Amigo or Blackhole on a foam finishing pad (Chemical Guys Hexlogic are great) and then topped with a silky wax looks amazing. I used Zymol Carbon.

Depth for days.

Where you getting your products from?
I'm in need of some more wheel cleaner so might try out some new stuff while I'm at it

Everywhere!
The Poorboys I bought off eBay, but everything else from Amazon.
Keep an eye out for offers at Halfords also, I got their Meguiars cleaning kit on offer for £35 after Christmas and now it's back to £50. They often have 3 for 2 offers on various brands.
Euro Car Parts have the same kind of thing and were selling the Sonax detailer quite cheap too.

Spent a good amount of time this afternoon giving the car some TLC

Slowly but surely getting her back to ship shape

I'm thinking of investing in a machine polisher so I can really go to work on the paint and try my hand at getting rid of all the minor scuffs, swirls and imperfections that she's picked up along the way
