If I remember Garmin has the canary island's on it my TomTom 5000 truck one dose not sure about the std car One @LOCKE

I bought this a couple of years ago as we did a road trip in the US. It has everything you'll ever need and we've used it in the Canaries.

I know it may be a bit overkill, but when it covers the world and comes with free updates, it ticked all the boxes for me.
Obviously other variants are available, and you may only want UK and Europe, so will be priced accordingly.

For what you get, certainly. I've always used Garmin and am well impressed with it.

Phone cradle and google maps app on your phone. It will cost about a tenner to try it out mate. We've been using it for a year. The Garmin is sat rattling around in the glove box!

For the cost, you may as well see what you think.
