Extra Stripey Gordini - Recaro pics added

Two things on my list too!

Which splitter is that and was it hard to fit?

Love the UR brace. Very jealous that you picked it up for £30!
It's an RDX racedesign Vario X (you may have seen a pic of one colour-coded but they look better black to my eyes). They are relatively easy to fit.

Brace was a bit of a bargain - I couldn't justify the new price of one though!

Yeah agreed, I wish I could find one for that price!

Where did you order the lip from? Their site is in German but I could dust off my A Level... or use the place you ordered from

Cheapest I could find was eBay for £130 but the seller seems to have put his prices up. Let me have a look for the details and PM you

Very VERY nice indeed! So want a proper splitter for ours but can't find anything I like. Will probably end up going custom.

Awesome work Simon, I'm really looking forward to seeing this beauty in the flesh on Sunday.

Discs so god-damned big they stop the inside of your wheels getting grubby. What a great idea............

Must remember they are 18"s too.

Very-very nice Simon. Cant wait to hear all about them.

So my thoughts on the brakes. You need to remember all the work was done at the same time - calipers, discs, pads, fluid, lines - so I'm not able to attribute anything to a particular component. I would also point out that my drive consisted only of slow roads in greater London, which do nothing to give them a work out.

I'm sure most people think I'm mad as the existing brakes had only covered 15k and they are renowned for being an excellent setup. I thought this was probably fair comment until I drove the car. The brakes are just phenomenal. There is less travel now which took only a few presses of the middle pedal to get used to. But my god are they powerful. I'm worried I'm going to get rear ended now. I've had a lot of serious cars when I was younger but I don't remember any stopping like this. They still need to be bedded in but at the moment but they are quiet and there don't seem to be any negatives.

It will be interesting to give them a better work out and to see really how good they are.
