Tractor Boy

It looks sweet as-is, so if tomorrow's results are as good as we're all expecting, those photos will be getting drooled over, I'm sure

I feel your pain on the trouble cleaning too - no outside tap for me either, and having it do it on the roadside (cul-de-sc, so not a main road thankfully).

We don't even have that option Jimmy! I have to drive for about 40 mins to get to my mates to do a proper job. Loads of protection on the car to make interim jet washes as effective as possible, and to be fair, we get away with it mostly, but yeah, it's a massive pain.

So interim update from today. Basically, Sean is a total legend. Rear suspension was fitted by the time I left. Diffuser back on and everything. I have some semi-bad news though. Well it's fine for me as I've seen them but for you lot... I was having such fun watching Sean work and having banter that I completely forgot to get any pics of the suspension. A couple of pics of the rear going on and that's all I came away with. It looks very good indeed though! Kicking myself really. Whatever, we didn't buy it for the photos!

Saw a familiar face as I pulled in... @BenAG200

Oh and the service light came on on the way there too. So Sean is going to kindly fit that in seeing as it's only an oil service. Must remember the book tomorrow!

someone must be buzzing now!!looks good Mes...think im going to have to give a lesson of "what to do when visiting your mechanic"..Take pics mate :tongueout::tongueout:

there is a fix for the service light

To be fair, I'm usually really good with things like this, but I saw Ben's car and his ASTs and then I got a look at the Billies and yeah, I lost a bit of focus

Taa for the service indicator reset but I'm ok with that. But when I said Sean is going to sort it, I mean do the oil service. Pretty handy bit of timing really!

Cool update mate, look forward to seeing the end result tomorrow! Good to see my pride and joy again haha

She's in very good hands and looking spectacular Ben. Honestly, the green/yellow/black combo is such a win and you're having it made so much better. Big fan of what you're doing mate.

Sorry guys! Shuv was kind of right, been too busy enjoying it. Also the car desperately needs a wash, so I don't really wanna show new rims off with a dirty car. Gonna go and do a proper job on it shortly and should have some photos and a proper report for later. However, we're going out tonight so may be Sunday after the meet.

Brief headline report: CAR FEELS AMAZING!!! We're both very very happy indeed. Suspension is actually more like a B16 set up. There's very little B14 left in them apparently. They're set to be about B14 stiffness at the moment (3 or 4 on the dials), we're already confident we can go stiffer. It's so compliant over the bumps. My impression so far is they've done a VERY good job with these.

Quick snap from when we got back home at 1am last night after "testing":

Oh my dear lord. Look at the fronts especially ! What bloody arch-gap ? That has some serious stance now......

Have you put spacers on too Mes.....or is that accentuated at the front because the wheel is turned slightly ?

Need some daytime pics now to show off the colour. Can tell already its going to be orgasmic looking though. And if you say the ride / handling is epic; anyone driving that car is in for a treat......

LOVE IT ! All worth the anticipation ten-fold

Should look half decent after a wash:wink:

Looks stunning with the wheels and lowered ride height Mes. Glad you and the better half like it.
