I had the Toyosports manifold fitted. It knocked like B****H even moving off slowy from junction and was dire at motorway speeds. Fitted the Vibra mount and all was sorted instantly. You do notice the engine vibrations more at idle, but its worth it just to get rid of the rattle.

£30k for 59plate GTR with under 30k. Try more like £35k+ Okay maybe the scooby isn't comparable to a RS4/M3/M5. But for age of car/milage/spec/engine there is nothing really that can match it.

Okay.. go find one with under 30k miles, under 5 years old and under 25k.

A 5 year old M5 for under 25k… You'll be lucky. Same for the RS4/6. They are 30k easy. M3 Saloon is a good shout, you can just about get a 5-6 year old one for 25k. These are in budget too...

Finally had the chance to get the Vibra technics mount fitted today. A VERY HAPPY CHAPPY INDEED. All rattles/banging have disappeared. Even under full load round a bend, not a knock, not a peep from the exhaust hitting anything. So happy to have the motor finally back to full strength. Really...

Alot of people suffer head injurys while skiing/snowboarding. If anybodies not seen it, watch "The crash reel". Its about a young american pro snowboarder that suffers a head injury. I have a feeling Schumacher might be going the same way.

Couldn't help Im afraid. I have just measured them and they are 2" diameter though. I've got the toyo manifold at the moment and it knocks like a mutha! I've got a vibra technics lower mount waiting to go on. If that doesnt help I'm having my old manifold welded back up and putting that on.

I'm very doubtful that it'll solve my vibration at all. Even moving off from a junction it'll clunk something rotten. Think I may just end up getting my OEM welded up and put that back on. I'm really falling out of love with the little clio. Atm, I hate the thought of even driving it.

Just a quick note. If you going to have the flexi's replaced, have the welds near the gasket gone over. (Had my flexi's replaced and then a week later the manifold went at the gasket)

Mount ordered and on its way. How easy is it to fit. (I know it's been said its a five minute job, but is it DIY able without a ramp?)

After the first weekend with the car back after being repaired... It's driving me nuts. The exhaust rattles even when setting off as slow as I can. How likely will the vibra technics mount solve this issue. (Does it really reduce the engine movement that much?

Just picked the car up. All working now... But it knocking on something like mad. Going to have to give it a trip to RS tuning in January to have it looked at. What is it likely to be? Engine mounts? Seems worse when you turn left?
