What are people using to clean and treat the dash and door card plastics. I want something with a matt finish of course, but something that lasts more than a couple of days! Is G-Techniq C4 suitable for interior plastics, looks to be great stuff.

This is very true! Also, if you can find a Hyundai Getz at this price, they are bullet proof too. Will be high mileage at this price but low stress engine and everything is built to last, inside and out.

You can pick up a Ph1 172 for that money these days, 40+ MPG and still fun, if you can live with the interior! Cheap to run too, mine cost me nothing in 18 months bar the usual service parts. The dash is BOGGING though!

I have to agree, despite an earlier post of mine regarding wet braking, the brakes on my 197 are phenomenal, really, I've owned some choice cars in my 20+ years of driving, and the brakes on the 197 stand out above almost anything else I've driven. The sheer grip also stands out! But the brakes...
