Last time i was at KTech i was looking at the kit they have on the black 197 in the showroom. Looked like it was fitted very well but for some reason they have never offered it.

I changed my front brakes to HC discs, DS 2500 pads and some braided lines (plus 5.1 fluid), completely transformed the feel of the braking once all bedded in. I think the car is over braked anyway with brembo calipers but the feel is much better with this setup.

One of mine needed doing on its MOT last month. My local garage had it for a week after mentioning they needed to order it separately due to Renault wanting silly money for the assembly. I didn't think anything more of it but sounds like they saved me some money!

Any thoughts on the Direzza 03G's? Do they run ok in the cold/wet? I will be needing some new tires soon. I don't have spare wheels though so need something that will work all year.

Nice work on the track vids. Great to see you chasing down much more expensive machinery. You carry so much speed through the corners. Did i see quite a bit of short shifting also? I assume slippery in places?

Did you notice much of a change in balance when you stripped the weight out of the back of the car? I found the car great fun as it is but wonder if it may become tail happy making the back end lighter....
