Well said ^^ the civic type r chassis is no comparison in my opinion anyway :) Update she is in and driven 80 miles with not a single problem only on a base map atm as trying to nail down the mapper so is only revving on a soft limiter of 4K. Got lots of pics etc to update soon

So at the minute yes standard clocks are the plan! I want to make it look as OEM as possible... it can be done I believe

Small update: Having a custom exhaust manifold made similar to a TODA I have been told... will get pics when it’s been made being drawn up at the minute.

I don’t believe much more... I think the plan is to go for some sort of race core custom radiator! May be cheaper ways of doing it but id rather have one that fits right and does the job

Sorry for lack of updates Have been carrying out extensive testing on the custom radiators and the custom mounts. The tuning company is doing one alongside mine to fine tune everything Still very much exicted!

Update: Have bought the following: K swap wiring harness DC5 shifter DC5 gear cables

Thanks guys I have a 5 minute video of it running / revving up the range to prove how strong it was for people interested Ill probably get it up for sale once I’m a tad further with the conversion as it’s still early days Looks like I’ll have to use TYPE R clocks but I guess they don’t look...

Do people need 200 engines? Not really thought about selling it really but would be happy to if someone needs a good engine

Update: Managed to pick up a Type R for a reasonable price. Engine is now out of the Clio - gutted as its had the gearbox redone professionally and serviced and only on 71k miles. Type R engine will be coming out this weekend, tuning company is getting clutch lines made!

I’ve heard a mixed bag about those mounts! Am going to see what this other new company is bringing out... just to be a little different aswell. Speaking to the developer lots of work has gone the mounts to make sure they are v strong

Perfect I just need to find a Type R and then we are good to get cracking! half tempted to buy a cheap 197 rather than doing it on my 200 but we will see :)

As the title says I’m very close to k20’ing my Clio. A new performance garage local to me has put in plans to build a kit and has offered me a conversion as a reasonable rate! Any one here gone down the route? Matt
