Bilsteins and spacers...

So I've just got some B14's for my newly purchased LY200... Im wanting to know what they look like lowered on the original wheels, and what spacers you guys have so i can see how they sit. As i feel there will be some serious tuck at the moment having such high ET.

Pictures would be grateful with what spacers you have?

most people go for 15,19 or 20mm spacers...looking forward to seeing some of your pictures..

I've just put B14's on and I've been running 20mm spacers since just after I got the car 3-years ago.

Not been on track since I've had the B14's but when I had the spacers with cup chassis the car was great on track...

B14's and 20mm spacers - we had no issues, oh apart from the tyres eating the wheel arch liners when on track ! !

But seriously this is a decent set up

See this is what I'm worried about as i intend to do a few tracks a year and i don't want to be shredding tyres on arches.. i reckon i may go for the 15mm then. Have you got a photo of yours you could post up with the B14's and spacers?

Thanks

When we tried 15mm spacers we had a problem. We found the hub protrusion front and rear was greater than 15mm. we tried a set from Direnza and the hubcentric bit bottomed out before the spacer was fully down. These went back for credit.
The alternative would be to modify the hubs !!!

We did machine a set of 20mm spacers down to 17.5mm for what it was worth ! - this gained a couple of mm of arch space

You wont shred tyres or arches its just the arch liners, and this of course it all depends how low you run it and how hard you push it / brake on track.

You may find some 2015 / early 2016 pictures on here https://www.facebook.com/DrivewayMotorsport.Project3/ , early 2016 we changed from Bilstein to KW clubsport
