Looking at fitting bucket seats in my 197 track car and just weighing up my options for mounting them. I've not bought any seats yet but looking to purchase some in the next few weeks.
Done a bit of looking round but wanted some opinions and what other people have done.
Option 1 - rentune mounts which mount to original floor positions, same as the cup racer. Don't really want to spending £225 on a pair, seems a bit steep to me and being car specific if I don't change cars in the future, the mounts will be of no use.
Option 2 - OMP subframes and get some sidemounts when I decide what seats I want. Just not sure how low I'll be able to mount the seat using this set up. I don't want to be sat on the floor but I want to be quite a bit lower than standard.
These are the two main options I can see at the moment but looking for others and see what other people have done. If anyone's got any pictures of buxket seats fitted that's even better.
