Buying from the US.

I am considering buying these - Collinite-TRIO-SPECIAL-one-each-915-476-845-Kit but i have never purchased anything from the USA before and was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to what additional costs i may incur, import duty, tax, admin charges, etc.

In a round about fashion you're getting a 3 for 2 deal from the US.

Or would it be less hassle to buy the 3 from someone in the UK??

Firstly (and I haven't read the full listing) are they willing to ship to the UK? Many US sellers won't ship abroad.

If the seller marks it as a gift then you will probably get away without any additional duty, but sometimes this doesn't work and you can get stung. I would be prepared for an extra £15, just in case.

just asked the wife who is a importer
if its door to door no taxes to pay
if sent normal post you pay taxes
