Can anyone confirm they have used this adapter with success in their 200?

I've just tried and my stereo will not turn on, just eject disks.

If I plug the stereo straight into the car it works fine?

I'm sure people have used them with success, sure it's all plugged in as per the instructions?

Yeah, I've tried all kinds of combinations of order of plugging connectors in... no luck.
