Either way black or red would look good and if your doing the spraying yourself do it black and see how it looks first as it's easier to spray and haven't got to worry about colour matching. You could always change it to a to red if your not happy at a later date.

As a side note is the matching front one rubber or does this one need painting

A little update
I painted it red in the workshop & one of the guy's drove a machine in & covered it in dust ! fantastic
so sanded down again got some more paint & resprayed this then reacted & bubbled/cracked at this stage i was ready
to throw the whole lot in the skip
After 5 day's of me calming down the paint/mess had still not dried so took a can of thinners & a rag to in & cleaned all the paint off ,repainted with primer & painted with the only paint i had in the workshop satin black & i think it looks pretty good

I like the black on red, it looks good. Proper nightmare for you to get it on though! Not surprised you nearly gave up after all that carry on :smile:
 
Nice! Just need some satin black wheels and it will look even better!

I dropped the wheel's off at the powder coaters yesterday morning
silverstones in gloss black then getting the std wheel's done later in the year
just need to get the front splitter then & i think it's finished
