Decat question

Hi guys

Basically I want a little more tone from the exhaust and as other modifications are taking priority I am going to opt to de-cat the car (second cat) as it is more affordable for now and otherwise leave the standard system on!!

I was thinking k-tec or piper de-cat??

Which is best to go for?

I have tried to look into it, but it seems with the cat it is all one piece with the centre pipe so will require cutting off.. is this correct?

If this is correct, can the cut off (standard) cat be replaced easily for MOT? and how well do the de-cats fit if you have a standard exhaust system otherwise and not a catback system?

Any help appreciated!!

Thanks Matt

Decats fit well. A ktec 1 fits to standard zorst using a sleeve. U wanna buy a used ktec pro?

do I have to chop the standard cat from the exhaust and will it re-fit as a result of this?

how much for k-tec pro mate?

I am trying to figure out the best exhaust system to go for whether it be ktec full system, just de-cat or full straight through centre pipe
