197 Cup

Since 2002, Clio Cup versions have been the benchmark by which all high-performance hot hatches were measured.

The Clio 197 cup was based on the hugely popular Clio Renaultsport 197 and featured a 20kg weight saving over the regular version, as well as cup chassis as standard.

The Cup chassis gave the car a lowered ride height of 7mm, stiffer springs (27% front, 30% rear), 10% stiffer dampers, and finally red Brembo 4 piston brake callipers.

200 Cup

The Renaultsport 200 Cup was the most track focussed vehicle of the Clio Renaultsport family.

With cup chassis as standard, it offered a lower ride height (7mm), stiffer springs and dampers and a quicker steering rack (7.5% quicker), which provided performance and cornering ability that was simply mind boggling.

The Clio Renaultsport 200 Cup also featured the best power to weight ratio in its class (166bhp per tonne).
