Engine bays

What do people use to clean there engine bays. Not something ive really tackled before tbh, only ever a quick wipe lol! What products is everyone using?

WD40 is great for black plastics, I use gunk degreaser, agitate with small brushes then wipe down.

be very careful with WD40 it damages Lambda sensors, as i've found out

For tough grease and muck then Gunk is a good product.

Other than that, general shampoo is fine for light dirt.

The Aerospace 303 wiped everywhere for protection.

Just remember there are electrical bits so dont be too heavy with the fluids or too rough round fragile plugs and stuff when your scrubbing.

i use meguiars speed detailer

Poorboys APC to remove all the dirt and grime with a selection of brushs and cloths. Then a trim restorer on the plastics
