Exhaust upgrades and Insurance

Has anyone run the risk of getting a upgraded exhaust and not told your insurance company.

The insurance company im with want a stupid amount of money to add it to my policy and im debating whether it's worth the risk.

IMO it's never worth the risk matey.

id declare it on an expensive car mate, you dont want to run the risk of not getting paid out in the event of a crash
