KTEC seat base help needed

Hi

I’m currently trying to fit a sparco seat with runners to a KTEC seat base. But when I’ve gone to bolt the runners to the base the seat is positioned of to the right.
Ive marked a centre line from the steering wheel to show how far off I am.
Question: Do I have the wrong KTEC seat base?
Or
Am I missing something else more obvious?

Is the base mounted the correct way?
Should the KTR logo be at the back?
Would that even make a difference?

Yes the KTR is generally as the back, but it makes no difference to the positioning.

You have to position the seat using the holes in the side mounts - which will likely not give you what you want either.
I drilled additional holes in mine to get it closer to the tunnel.

Nope. You can get the direct to floor mounts which work pretty well, but if you have a large/wide seat like mine, it’s not possible to get the seat in line with the wheel and be able to match the holes in the floor up.

I ended up buying SW’s mounts for the Megane (which will also fit the Clio)
They’re expensive, but a much better setup/solution.

I’ve got the puretrack side mounts that are attached to my other seats, so I’ll have to swap them over onto the rails. Not ideal but better than having to start drilling holes into the KTR seat base.
