Golgarth Aug 29, 2009 #4 I remember spending £200+ on megs stuff when I bought my Cooper S years ago. I still have 60%+ of it as I soon realised I hate polishing cars! Good stuff though and brilliant results, just too boring, 3 times a year max now I do a full clean.

I am no detailer... but you would have achived that 'hose run-off' by just applying some polish! And one thing I have learned from professional finnishers/ painters is to never polish in swirls... Always polish 'back & forth' the length of your car.
