Painted Inlet Manifold

Hi,

Ordered another inlet manifold which I want to get cleaned up and painted to bring a bit of colour to the engine bay, I'm currently considering going with white to match the car (Keeping it clean won't be an issue) or black wrinkle paint.

Looking for pictures of some others that have been done on here (Either painted or powder coated) to get some impressions of how it looks

How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking.

I'm thinking of doing crackle black for mine.

@shauncr91 I had mine done a few weeks ago see my progress thread (sorry if its a bit boring!) - really happy with the results, I went with red, I have to admit it looks better in the flesh than the pictures - will be updating my progress thread over the next day or so when i collect my car tmrw..

@shauncr91 heres mine Etched primed using upol acid 8, then given a coat of Porsche viper green. Followed up with petrol proof lacquer.

Exhaust manifold? That's a pms item for the 1*2. The rest of the engine was a hybrid of 197/R3 maxi/172 parts. Made 230bhp
