I've got a 2009 Cup chassis which has steering wheel height adjustment but not reach - I find the wheel too far away but don't want to go down the route of an aftermarket dished wheel as this will lose me the airbag.
Am I right in thinking that some cars have steering adjustable for height and reach? And this is deleted on the Cup (presumably to save weight)?
If so, is it possible to retro-fit the height/reach adjustment by buying a used steering column from a non-cup car?
