Shuv's Racing Blue 200...................

After talking about Black renault badges; i had a scout round ebay and Google.

After finding plain black ones, carbon pattern ones and real carbon ones.....i also found out the front 200 badge is bigger than the 197. And the 200 size in general seemed harder to find and there was less selection.

Then i came across a pair of Carbon-dipped ones on ebay. Stuck in a healthy bid.....ended up winning for peanuts !!!!!

Arrived today and are in PERFECT, unmarked condition:

Will likely be jamming them on Sunday, as the weather is supposed to be rubbish tomorrow......

Front black badge is awesome and really goes with the black splitter, bumper, mirrors etc:

Rear not so much so IMO. Not sure if i should leave the Renault badge silver, get rid of the Clio badge, add some more black somehow or.......(?)

***Probably dont help the badge is new and polished-up - but rest of car / black parts at the rear are filthy dirty :nope:

I think the front badge looks great and suits it well. The rear does look odd with the rest of the badges being silver  I agree, de-badge the silver bits, or colour code.

Not often i take to a change right away......but this i like. And i admit im old compared to alot of you lads and probably not very 'fashionable'. But you were right all along.......

Just need to get what i'm now sure is a bottom ball-joint sorted, along with this exhaust blow and then i might start a few more-serious modifications going........

*****If the bottom ball joint is such a known "weak-spot"....why does everyone opt for a straight Renault replacement. Is nothing more heavy duty available ??

looks very nice...well the bottom joint issue..dont think there is anything more durable available tbh...

If the next lasts 5 years and 30'00 miles its no big issue.

Be nice to do it and "cross it off the list" never to return though wouldn't it...............

think the steering parts need to be gradually replaced..just the way it is...still waiting for mine to go :nope:
whats the next step for you??

Yea guess so. I might stick a pair of Bottom ball-joints on while its in the garage - and get those out of my mind for a few years.

Simple exhaust and re-map i reckon. Engine Dynamics in Colchester is only 65 miles away, and appear to be Renault "specialists"........
