Steering Wheel Questions

Hi Folks,

Thinking of getting a racing wheel at some point. However, I've got a couple of queries:

1. I have cruise control - how will a racing wheel affect this?
- Bear in mind the wheel contains the cruise control. I am not bothered if I lose this feature.

2. Are there any MOT issues to be considered?

3. Other than losing the air bag and horn - what else do I have to consider?

4. Should I remove the physical horn from the engine bay?

Check out Masa's project thread. He has tried lots of different wheels, and retained the cruise control functionality.

You need to retain the horn for the MoT, why would you consider removing the actual horn? Most aftermarket wheels have horn button functionality.

Whatever wheel you get you also need the right adaptor/boss for the Clio.

starting next year if the airbag light is on for mot it will fail.
