I had apex springs on my 197, very firm and stiff!

On my 200 that I know own, I have H&R fitted, like others have said it feels pretty bouncy and unpredictable especially when braking the rear becomes really light and wants to snap round on you!
Once I have some money I'll going to be getting a set of collies!

It depends on how you like your car to feel, I like my cars to feel solid with no body roll...probably too firm for most people. Don't be put off by what I've said as plenty of people rate the H&R springs highly and I'm one of very few that dislikes them.

If I were you I'd be buying the KW's purely on the fact that they are a known as one of "the" things to do on these cars, if your going to do it. Although I might be tempted to try the BC coil overs that Angel is selling as they come with adjustable top mounts I believe??

Stop messing about Chris, springs are a waste of money and a step backwards, KW V3s or nothing, everything else is an also ran, Cup suspension is the quickest setup, unless you go radical

Yes, well 197 cup to v1

a little firmer but nothing too drastic. If they annoyed me they would have been off in a month. Still on 2yers later.

how well would KW V1s stand up to light track work, i know the V3s are better but they are also £600 more.

I have heard a number of people say that with semi-slicks and V1s the suspension is too soft.

Ollie (who also had an AG200) had this issue.

guys I need an advise here: I have a 197 non-cup with Simo's adjustable top mounts and Toyo R888s, using mainly on trackdays, and wondering to upgrade the suspension.

speaking a lot with Yiannis, I know what would be the ideal solution, but, let me challenge it.

what if I change for a 200 Cup suspension?
-its cheap as used
-its renaultsport

but would it be worth?
would it give notable difference on track?
anyone done it this way, and can share the experience?
