Track day brake recommendations

Hi guys,

I’m looking for recommendations on brake upgrades for my ‘06 197, front discs and pads (as I believe rears do next to nothing). So far it’s on OEM discs and upgraded pads. Mechanic I know thinks the cup setup is the way to go, agree/disagree?

Car is only for track use. Mods done so far include;
Stripped out
Roll cage/bucket seats/harnesses
Induction kit
Cat back exhaust
Remap
LSD
Coilovers
Running in Tokyo R888Rs

Will upgrade to braided lines and better fluid at the same time. Any particular fluid to get?

i'm currently on brembo HC discs (standard size), ferodo DS1.11 pads and endless RF-650 brake fluid.
does the job perfectly.

Same as Peter. Upgraded from Ds2500 to DS1.11 and the difference is night and day.
