what gearbox

So my 197 is hopefully going to clio turbo later in the year, while it is there I want a meg gearbox in aswell.
I was looking for either a 225 box to then install a quaife diff, or r26/r26r box with the LSD.
So my question is, is there any difference between the LSD used on the r26 and the r26r, if so is it worth waiting for an r26r box to come up.
