Which caliper pins?

So need to give my front calipers a good clean soonish as they are starting to squeak while im driving along due to sticking.

I'm almost 100% sure my current pins are jammed in there nice and tight, plus I want to replace them anyway with new ones.

But which pins to get?

Seen the Mintex ones on RPD: https://www.renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/parts/popular-products/front-brake-pads-pin-kit/

Also seen the Mr.Pink ones suggested here: http://www.clio197.net/threads/new-design-brembo-fitting-pins-interest.10578/

Anyone used either of these? The RPD ones are half the price about so if they do the job just as well might as well go for those?

The Mr Pink ones are spot on. Obviously you pay more but I think it'll make life a lot easier in the long run.

If you go for the Mintex ones, I wouldn't want to leave them in at one time for more than 4-5 months before getting them out or they may seize.

you only have to service the brakes once a year the pins never seize then...never changed the pins on my 197 or even on a few of my mates cars

This. I used the standard pins, stripped and cleaned the brakes every summer and never had any issues with removing the pins.

+1 for Mr.Pinks pins. They cost more but in the long run they’ll save you hassle.
