Bumper not flush with wing

Hi all

My bumper has popped out slightly and although I can push it back, keeps popping out. I have heard that the clips can weaken if the bumper is taken off but my bumper hasn't ever been removed. Is this an easy problem to fix?

Thanks

I have a FIX

done loads of these!!!!!

Go to ANY half decent body shop, get them to Undo the arch liner & bolts so the Wing comes away-
Then use their bonding gun- ( strong glue )

Hold in place

Bolt everything back together

JOB DONE- costs me a 10 spot or a box of donuts!

Thanks for the advice. Seeing as I have no intention of taking the bumper off in the future, bonding seems like a good idea. My mechanic suggested that before I posted here so great minds think alike

I reckon you should all give Renault UK a call at the same time and see if there is a known issue logged. Dont see why you should have to bond a bumper in place to make it look normal in my eyes! They may be more helpful than you think

I wonder if you could heat the clip up and bend it back into place then rapidly cool it to set it in place.

It is an issue, well should i say was an issue. Renault have modified the design on the 200's so they will not suffer from this problem.

Not so much of an ugly front end anymore when at least ours fits correctly eh? :-p

Take the wheel arch lining off and see if the bolt that connects the arch and bumper is missing.

I'm going to hopefully have a look at this tomorrow. If I come up with a solution for it I will post and let everyone know.

i solved with this method

two thicknesses between metal and plastic!! Strange but true!!
The problem is that the plastic unter the light is flabby
