Is Wes going to get his car back?

I am not sure I would take many of those cars out at Cadwell Park in anything but a bone dry track.

The Dunlop DZ03G Direzzas have been delivered. Once we have been to Cadwell Park next week and Donington Park next month we will put these on the newly refurbed Speedlines ready for the ring Trip in July 2024. Will a bit of gentle road driving be enough to scrub in these new tyres?

We used a few sets of part worn Direzzas in the past. They are really grippy and seem to come alive fairly quickly. The downside is that they are not as hard wearing as MRFs.

I have ordered a brand new set of Direzzas for the car now. It seems outrageous to spend so much money knowing that the tyres are going to be abused and replaced within 6 months to a year. I hate to think what people pay for tyres in a race season. We were due to go to Donington Park in March...

The wear rate is what I am concerned about. If Direzzas wear at a slower rate then we will probably go for Direzzas over the A052s.

We got the track wheels back from Rolling Rims today. The extra set of Speedlines that we had in the parts bin have been refurbed and are now a stunning Clio Williams gold colour. Rolling Rims have done a good job with the wheels. For an extra £60 they even came and collected the wheels...

Were you booked on for two days of track day action or just the Monday?

Most track cars have got bumps and scrapes on them. I wandered around the paddock at Brands Hatch on Sunday for a 750MC meet and almost every Clio I saw had some kind of ding or dent in it. As long as your car can pass the 10m test then it will be fine.

Are the headlights completely dead or just not illuminating anymore than the sidelight setting?
