noticed a couple of people having a the problem of a flatspot around 2500 rpm like me so thought i have a go at solving it. my first thought after looking into it was auto detonation after hearing a slight tap in the engine so went for higher octance fuel which was v-power + Nos Octane booster...

its a 92 civic btw but figured fluids fluid so wouldnt matter, its yellow and smells of cat be but is on opposite side of the box and doesnt look like its coming out of the shaft but is deffinately dripping from the car and not just parked over a patch of piss lol

just done an engine transplant and complete overhaul of brake lines, power steering etc, and there a drip coming from the front end of the car, i know what most fluids smell like but this is a new one :S only thing i can think of is the coilovers as i've never smelt that oil before and i cant...

tbh i didnt really think of the clio as a performance car, just a nice little hatchback to run around in, so was a bit suprised to average 23mpg and 12 if your enthusiastic :( lol
