It has taken a little while to get the pics up but here we are! The farting 500 has arrived! I say farting as when we were stood around looking at it when I took it to my parents house it began making a noise that could only be described as a fart!

It is a really nice car and the MPG is always on the top side of 60 so that is a bonus - means I can drive the Clio harder lol!

Anyways some pics.....

It is now called Moo, for the aforementioned noise

You just know in 4 or 5 years these will be everywhere with girls that have just passed lol!!

Is it a Twinair?!? Heard very mixed reports on those engines, some love them, some loathe them!

I love the 500 love to have a go in a Abarth version one day

Your Clio looks great poking out the garage! But the 500 isn't bad either!

Thanks everyone, I'm loving the new wheels! The mpg is fantastic and really working well for me with the miles I do a day

I have a few things planned that I want to do to it and will post any progress up on here...

real nice, love the 500s, great little cars, never drove one yet though  anyway, is it a mjtd or the multiair?

It is the 1.3d, not exactly a refined, modern diesel. But it is a good engine for that car. It is a polar opposite to the Clio, nice and relaxed drive, peak power/torque feels to be about 2.5-3k rpm so it feels much more chilled out lol!

Thanks!

Its a multijet 1.3 lounge sport Ed had it a few months now and absolutely love it!

Just ordering some 'ultra rare' 3m white carbon fibre vinyl to do the dash trim in so we'll see how that works and will get some pictures up once done

the 1.3 is quite and still is advanced and given its capacity

My wife was looking at one the other day, a white gucci special, looked ok but it was a tad over 15k, which is getting on for cup money....

Are the Gucci ones any different powerwise or are you simply payong for a lil Gucci Badge?

I love the Diesel Ed ones, the attention to detail on the seats and the alloys are immense!

No different engine wise but you do get a really well done gucci inspired interior, it looks the business, they did the same with diesel a while back.

They had a white one and a black one but the white looked better, I think she would have had it but it was just to small for her and work, shes ordered a punto, progressive black with burgandy interior. Have to say the fiats do drive nice and they have up'd their game in recent years to shake of the Fix ItAgain Tommorrow image. You should have fun in the 500, cracking little motor.
