all that extra power and the focus cant put it to good use
 
I really like the Autocar video of the Clio 200 vs. Focus RS. Watched it a gazillion times when we were waiting on our 200 coming.

Though a lot of it is setup in favour of the 200 to look better than it is.
 
Im suprised the clio leaves the RS there really quick i dont like them personaly but i know in a straight line there as quick if not quicker than my meg ..:thumbsup:
 
When 5th gear tested the rocco vs frs vs 250, the 250 pissed all over the rest and was about a sec and a half quicker round the track.
 
Saying that, ive also pulled stupid gaps on astra vxrs when having a play, it isnt always about power
 
That wasn't even remotely testing either car. The focus would piss the clio without hardly trying with all those straights. The clio's are king on proper twisty roads. That was not twisty.

Noddie is right about the auto car vid, thats proper twisties and the RS can't loose the clio.

This video dosent suprise me at all, iv owned the focus for a couple of months now and its a big handfull in the twisties and you have to have all your wits about you while the clio was easy to drive quickly and can make any driver look like an f1 driver. however, given a decent driver in the focus it would be quicker than the clio. i think the 250 would be quicker in the twisties evan after just after the test drive i had but again would come down to the driver. Theres also a video of a focus rs all over a nissan gtr claiming its just as good on the roads too, i know which i would rather be in :smile:
 
Clio sounds like it being driven hard but then again when don't they, pain in the ass to drive like a normal car with the lack of low down torque
