Ford focus rs!

Just been in my mates and they are unbelievable! It is an ex project car for a company running 400bhp! But still! The interior and just the whole car is ace! Has any one gone from a clio to one of these? Definatley might think about one for my next car!

I like them in white and green.

Interior isn't to my taste as its a bit busy.

The new ones are a bit heavy and not as nimble and handle as good as the old mk1 focus rs's

Overall a better car but for a drivers old one everytime.

Bit of a big statement from me but the best handling car ive ever had or been in.

mate big power cars, cost big money to keep running. yes they will be faster than a 200bhp clio and yes they will be back in the workshop faster to.
get your clio to a trackday and you will see just what you have allready.

Hmmm, I see where your coming from but I just loved every minute of been in the car! I just can't wait to see how it is against the clio on a track day. The car is a safe 400bhp, so I'd hope (and he hopes) it won't be back in the workshop soon! Aha.

I had one from new and covered 9,000 miles. It had a few mods and ran about 360bhp. Great car, the five cylinder engine is a work of genius.

The 200 is a lot more fun though, and I'm sure it's quicker round my local back roads.

There's an AutoCar video review with a 200 and an RS. Give it a search on Google.

I changed from 197 to focus rs, the power is a big step up and its much harder to get the best out of it around the back roads. As already said it does cost much more to keep running and the itch for constantly more power can be costly as its easily done. I can see why most people think the clio will be quicker around back roads as it is alot easier to get towards the clios limits however in capable hands i think the focus would be quicker. I can honestly say i do miss the fun factor of the clio as the focus can be abit too serious at times.
