Alien Green 200 Cup *** New AG 200 (number 3) from page 85***

Definitely, you should post some good times, although knowing our luck the first session will.be dry and the second session will be canceled due to snow

Bought some new front and rear speakers for the little 133 in October but never got round to fitting them and after deciding to trade the 133 in for a new Clio 4 at the end of the month it seemed as though they were surplus to requirements.

However after some reading up I discovered that they should fit the 200 so spent some time this morning changing them out. Front speakers didnt pose any real difficulties, the same couldnt be said for the damn tweeters. Fudge me they were difficult to remove and refit flush. Turns out I had the fake tweeters fitted but had the wiring/plug there which was nice.

Fronts are Pioneer TS-Q131C:

Turns out the rears dont fit though. Bought Pioneer TS-E1302 2-Way 13 cm Car Speaker:

Disappointing they dont fit but the difference just the new fronts and tweeters make is pretty significant.

They will fit, cut off two of the fixing points with a hack saw, then cut and krimp the wires. Me and my mate did it together only difference is I used vibe slick v5's. Plus I used some sticky back pads to raise the speakers out a few millimetres so they don't foul the existing plastic clips on the panel.

I think they're the same ones I put in my rear. (Haha) Just cut the extra bits off. I just got connectors for the wiring and it was all good.

Did you manage to fit the tweeters properly in the end Noddie? Any improvement to std? I've read mixed reviews for this upgrade.

They are in properly yes, though wasn't easy to get them in right.

Definitely an upgrade for me as I had fake tweeters in the dash. All that was there was the wiring for a tweeter but just fake ones.

I finally got my tweeters to fir properly. I broke one of the covers in the process of removing it though so had to superglue it. The trick to getting them to fit is to push really ****ing hard in the middle of the tweeter cover! The reason they won't fit flush is because the tweeter itself is difficult to push through the hole in the dash when it is clipped into the cover.

I put a folded towel over the cover and used the windscreen to push against. They're now both sat flush

Thanks guys, I've got a different head unit so these speakers should make a noticeable difference. Another thing to get I guess...
