The instructions carry the warning "These spacers shouldn't be used for unusual manoeuvres or aggressive driving". Kinda scuppers the idea of taking it on track doesn't it.

Go and fit a big brake kit and be restricted to civilised road driving? I don't think so.

The wheels I've went for aren't in this thread and IMO even though aftermarket, they look OEM.

They are 17 x 7, ET42 and anthracite. Tried to stick to the standard colour as close as possible.

Car at has been dropped off at SWR now so will get it back tomorrow with brakes and wheels fitted.

Looking forward to seeing these fitted. They do look quite OEM, they're a lot like the OEM ones on the Mk5 Fiesta Zetec-S.

Not on yet lol.

A few few wee issues to sort out first. A few little faults were found during its first service on Friday. Nothing major but thought I'd get them sorted first.

Probably an obvious question but will the wheel arch scrubbing be even worse then with these wider wheels ?

The brakes are finally fitted. A wee pic after a quick wash. Tis getting treated to a proper wash this weekend.
