de-wipering a clio

I de wipered both my Corsa and mini jcw, it's very easy to do and you can get the rubber grommets from halfords in a 3 pack (3 different sizes).

I never use my rear wiper to be honest so I didn't miss it, unless you love mud and hate washing your car you'll be fine.

Good luck. By the way it's a 32mm grommet to fill the full hole, or 14mm to fill the hole in the original grommet. I'm gonna get a glass one at some point.

Got one from Hanford today. Had to get one to fill the original grommet, as they didn't have a 32mm one.

Could have sworn I saw something saying it was a 31mm grommet? :/ I'll buy a pack this weekend of rubber ones. Did it on my old Corsa. Glass grommets are too expensive!

I could well be wrong mate, but I did measure it on sunday. I can check for you after work tomorrow if you'd like?

+/- 1mm with a grommet won't cause too much of a problem.

Yes the glass ones are pricey but, ultimately, the way to go.

I've only use rubber both times but couldn't fault them.
No problems at all, used car wash, pressure washer etc.

Nah it's fine mate just saw someone say 31. Not a problem as I'll stick with rubber ones but just make 100% sure yourself before ordering a glass one!

Got it today and tried to fit it but - NO - it's to wide and the moment I tried to fit it the glass broke. :'(

I am/was so frustrated because it looks great, but won't fit!



Sent them an email demanding a 31mm version. This whole day I was thinking about not being able to fit it and how it looks great...

I used BMW swirl flap blanking plate 33mm.

Just removed obsolete

and installed

Seems like there are different diameters of our wiper grommets. 32mm vas too wide for my Clio.

This one fits nicely (would be perfect if it was 0,5mm wider)

I used a BMW swirl flap on my racecar and fitted a treat but now i have a carbon blank from the guy who makes the carbon sill covers looks good but would be great if it was a flush fit.
