Part ex'd the clio for a good price and got a really nice specced rocco. It's a totally different beast to the clio but I'm well happy with it.

So tomorrow I pic up my new car, going onto a scirocco 2.0tsi dsg. Loved the clio while I've had it, it's a cracking car definitely the best hot hatch out there. Just felt that it was time to get rid as work situations changed and the prices may fall when the new RS comes out. Be sad to see it...

Imo if it was nearer £12,250 it would be a good deal. Got my 60 plate UR in feb 2012 paid £12,600 with 12k miles and same spec. Paid cash though so that helped negotiate the price down, its end of the month and with the new RS coming out they should want to get it off the forecourt.

Thanks for the advice guys, been reading lots of threads about the sprint boosters and for the money they seem worth the punt. That was my concern with the federals tbh, in the end ive gone with the toyo r1r's and even though ive only driven a handful of miles on them they seem pretty good, only going to be used for the track and ring trips though. Was going to opt for ad08s but couldn't find any in stock for a decent...

Got my trackday wheels all refurbed and awaiting some rubber. Toss up between federal 595 and yoko ad08's. I know there's been loads of debate already but as a quick poll, what's best?

Usually about £30 will last about a week and a half I don't get the chance to use it properly at the weekend, 15min town commute get about 28mpg. Usually about £40 a week with weekend driving :) Got a mate who had an M1 and got 17mpg, drove it how it was designed to be driven!
