They are the same type of seat just different versions, also the clio and corsa have different mounts. So you'd need to make them fit rather than just bolt them in. I looked into them before I bought Renault ones.
When I fitted my 197 with the oreca system it removed the main cat, and I already had a toyosport manifold so I decided to fit a sports cat so it would pass an mot.
Have you still got the previous cat in the original manifold? I ran it for a couple of months before the sport cat was fitted, I...
My 197 on cheap fuel used to idle like a pig, up and down between about 800-1100 rpm but on v power it ran as smooth as anything.
What fuel are you using. Some cars don't like cheap stuff.
Mine when driven harsh needed topping up every 1-2 weeks but I know that to be quite common with people I've spoke to. My golf has only needed topping up once in the last 6 months. It's driving the same miles on the same roads in the same way. Engines which spend a lot of time revving high tend...
Can't anyone on Ebenezer do one to the size you want, I've had several decals made to my dimensions from several sellers over the years. A lot will do it for you, isaydingdong is one that has done it for me several times.
Be careful who you use, I had a place tell me they were a specialist when they were just trying to use everyone's trust in them to make small jobs a bit bigger and cost more. If I had another I'd only go too rstuning in Leeds. I trust that they know the cars and not ripping people off.
Even if they did fit it would be a bad thing to do as they are designed for a car which is a fair bit heavier. They wouldn't be suitable. A cars weight and where that weight in the car has a big influence on suspension settings, angles and rates.
The pointless second exit says it all to me, the akra is built for show, the oreca is built for go. When I had my 197 I didn't consider any other for that reason. Plus the second exit just slows exhaust gasses down. It's there purely to make people think it's special. As most people are easily...
It wouldn't be good to strain the engine by trying to get the car going with the engine just in idle, like 20 mph in 6th. The engine would struggle to accelerate. These clios have no torque at low revs at all.
Well mine seemed happy enough before the remap but before he started tweaking it the rollers only said it made 149, my oreca system with a sport cat and toyosport manifold made 190 after the remap. I wouldn't bother changing the exhaust system if I wasn't getting it remapped.
I had the precautions on my 197 and if I got another 197 it would get an precautions to, though remember the precautions system is manifold back so make sure you either still have the previous cat or you fit a sport cat like I did (I had a toyosport manifold) and a sport cat will make it louder...
I fitted the precautions and would only fit the precautions if I got another, that was manifold back and removed the pointless second exhaust exit, and I lovedthe sounds it made.
I hope that the rs3 is good, I'm pleased my golf gti, but I know that the rs3 is a big step up from the gti and the golf r. 5 cylinder engines sound better than all others. The best sound I ever heard was from a 5 pot audi quattro.
I had the oreca exhaust and had no problems at trackdays, mine had the small front silencer removed for a sports cat too which made it louder still but had no issues, mine also had a toyosports manifold wich won't have made it quieter but they were happy with it, according to the bloke at...
