Can anybody tell me if the 197 has ever been available in a solid navy blue colour? I'm sure I've seen one ages ago, but can't find any pics of one online, can someone confirm if I'm tripping or not. Cheers

Hi Just found the forum and it's great so I registered. I'm from Leeds and currently own a 205 GTI, but maybe looking to get a 197 when the work situation improves, hopefully over the next few months and it seems all the info I need is right here.

Try Plasticare from eBay, it can be applied with a rag or brush and stains the plastic back to original colour and will not fade within 18 months. It can also be used on any interior plastics aswell as exterior.
